Welcome to Pittsfield.

We are a Township located between the greater Green Bay Metropolitan area and the Village of Pulaski.

Here you will find a quiet mixture of agricultural land and rural subdivisions with an expanding business district. Our business district lays on the south edge of the Township along the Highway 29/32 corridor. It provides easy access for commercial and retail interests.

If you are looking to visit or join us we welcome you.

Chief Frank Wichlacz

On July 23rd our community suffered a great loss when the Pulaski Tri-County Fire Chief, Frank Wichlacz was killed in a freak accident at the fire station. Chief Wichlacz was a member of the department for over 50 years and Chief since 1986. The Contributions that he made to our community can never fully be expressed as his influence shaped the Fire department, clubs and committees he was involved in. I am sure I speak for the Town when I express to the family our sorrow and share
in their grief.

FIRST RESPONDERS NEEDED

The Town is looking for volunteers to join the First Responder group. You would assist NEW Rescue and your fellow neighbors in times of need. If you are looking for a way to make a difference in your community please contact NEW Rescue at: 888-888-3838.

School Road Park Land

The School Road park land, which had been rented out to Metro Soccer is again a topic of conversation. The Town discontinued the lease with Metro due to them taking no action. For the last couple of years we have continued the agricultural lease that Metro had started with a local farmer, until the Town made a decision on what to do with the land. The Department of Natural Resources, which oversees the grant which the Town used to buy the land, has advised the Town that it needs to advise them by this December as to what the Town is planning to do with the land. The restrictions within the Stewardship grant that the Town used to purchase the property severely limits what the Town can do. For example no permanent structures can be built on the property. One of the options discussed at the Annual meeting was the sale or trade of the property in order to gain property adjacent to the Mountain Bay trail. A motion was passed at the meeting to allow the Board to research this alternative. We will try to keep you updated as the situation develops.
